Not So Smart Colleges
When I was young, I was taught the point of going to college is to learn how to learn.
It doesn’t really matter what your major is, the material you learn will become outdated and even ridiculed. However, the process of learning to learn new concepts and skills will endure your entire life.
Critical thinking is not just a benefit of this, it is one of the ultimate goals of formal education.
The past three years have illustrated, without any doubt, those who think critically and those who do not.
I would never send my children to any university that does not teach critcal thinking. Would you?
