Substack continues to be the best way to keep my sanity. The sheer stupidity, corruption and pure evil of the past three years has changed my view of the world forever. Like most Americans, I have lived a life based on a few assumptions:

• Good triumphs over evil.
• Honesty is the best policy.
• Hard work will be rewarded.
• Be kind to your neighbor.
• Live and let live.
